If there are two things people with vagina’s should know: it’s to love yourself first and how to navigate a yeast infection.
One day you are complaining about an awkward date, the next, you are clouded by a burning sensation down there, longing for the simpler days of BYI (Before Yeast Infection).

Most of our vagina’s contain a healthy amount of yeast. When the vagina’s balance is disturbed, it begins to overgrow a specific kind of yeast called candida. A yeast Infection, also known as “candidiasis”, causes itching, burning, redness and swelling of the vagina and vulva. It also causes pain during sex and urination, and may produce thick, white, odourless discharge. A yeast infection is not an STI.
IT'S COMMONWelcome to the club. Around 75% of people with vagina’s will have at least one vaginal yeast infection in their life.
